04LEGAL FRAMEWORK
What the law requires
The First Aid Regulation (Article 19) requires organisations to keep a minimum number of certified first aiders on site, based on their workplace risk classification.

Low Risk
1 first aider for every 20 employees.

High Risk
1 first aider for every 15 employees.

Very High Risk
1 first aider for every 10 employees.
