Employees of Çelebi Ground Handling's Atatürk Station separated food surplus under the supervision of our foundation president, Dr Ayhan Tokgöz.
The company's food waste will be sorted by volunteer employees every day and sent to animal shelters. It is aimed to send 1200 kilos of food waste to shelters per month from this station alone.
Thanks to this project that we, as Lokman Hekim Health Foundation, have been carrying out for about 1.5 years, 3500 kg per month. Food leftovers are sent to Yedikule Animal Shelter. We hope it will set an example for other companies.
